Also, brad and fellow sports critics, don’t take it personal that hockey town has dedicated fans. For some reason ya take it so personal. It’s a major kick in the nuts to you guys. It’s simply respect for a talented hockey team (win or lose)… put your emotional disheartened remarks behind you and ‘get a pair’.

This is only on topic in the smallest way, but I feel compelled to post for these reasons:

1) Having seen the new Metallica documentary, "Some Kind of Monster," I am in the mood to indulge in mindless, time-wasting exercises like writing things on a messageboard. The Zone: Admission is acceptance. Honor what we've done.

2) Russ said something about everybody sucking each other off, which I liked. The more grammatically-correct "sucking-off each other" would not have been as emphatic.

3) Not actual cock-sucking, but Russ getting so worked up that he blurted it out in typing. Like the basketball dude who said the other basketball dude was gay for touching his "private parts." Or Lars saying "Fuck!" about thirty times.

4) I want to mention that I saw Brad do something really cool in a baseball game: He was playing second base (right at the bag), with a guy on first. There was a pop fly over his head, but the umpire didn't call the infield fly rule into effect. Brad had the presence of mind to catch AND THEN DROP the ball, so he could double-off the guy advancing from first. The umpire, realizing his mistake, said "That was an infield fly, the batter is out, no force." The umpire had been drinking, which is either cool or tragic, but it remains that BRAD PLAYS HEADS-UP BASEBALL.

That is heads up! I think it has sparked me to make a new thread...
