are not liked because I've never met anybody besides me who did (since '94). The list could go on, but I'll spare y'all.

also their last few albums -- i think most residents fans prefer the old stuff but i really like the new stuff too, even if it's poppier -- "animal lover" is really beautiful.
splattercell "oah" this album (by david torn) is incredible.
i really love most squarepusher albums, including some that i think are considered afterthoughts... "selection sixteen" has some of his best stuff imo.
the scientific americans. i don't think they are available on cd... i just have tapes of them. an early 80s band that my dad's friend knew. they are great.
also i should mention that catherine ribiero has a number of awesome albums that are barely available in the states. someone should change that.
