I still don't know why. It is a really plodding track. Why didn't I get 'Electric Avenue' instead? Or 'Livin' on the Frontline'? They still sound ok. But this... meh.

Never, Neverland is the title song off of Annihilator's second album released in 1990. It is based on a true story about a young girl who was locked in a room for half a decade after looking at a boy in a grocery store. Her guardian, who is her grandmother, felt this was the only way to protect her granddaughter from the "evils" and "temptations" in the world. During the middle of the song, the police/social workers storm the house and free the girl from her mental/physical captivity. She is now on the bright road to recovery while nanny finds her new home in the sanitarium. An added note: Clare is a doll.
