Cool, I've never heard of anyone covering the Cosmic Psychos before.

that was one cover we played almost every show.

the Psychos are good guys. We spent an entire weekend with them (two gigs and a radio performance) when they were in Boston. They used our gear and rocked the shit out of the Middle East. And WMBR.

I just heard that Smokin Robbie died in July. That sucks.

We did Big Black's Deep Six in a high school battle of the bands. oooo, so bad, so very very bad.

Then recently there was Have Love Will Travel by The Sonics. Did the saxaphone solo with a memory man. That one was fun.

All of our songs never really got titled, we call it the name of the band we ripped off and call it that.

Now its going to be our first show since last June and we're trying to work up a cover within a week just to have something new. So far its down to a ACDC medley (Beatin Around the Bush and TNT are the suggested one's so far), Method Man by The Wu Tang Clan, and Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd. I wish we'd choose.

I'm pretty sure I have an old Estrus compilation with The Derelicts doing this exact tune... it's pretty rockin', and I'd love to hear the original sometime...

The Bismarck has covered (and performed a couple times):

-The Cigarette Lighters-Silkworm. Ike turner and Tim Cook have both helped us sing that one.

-Final Solution -Rocket from the Tombs -with our 3rd favorite transvestite "Anita Goodman" singing.

we also had at one point practiced AC/DC's 'Dog Eat Dog' and got halfway through the Stooges' 'Shake Appeal'....but neither really panned out.

Here's a couple that I have done in one of my recent bands or solo acoustic

Lemonheads - Rat Velvet
Bobbi Soxx - Eighties
Bastro - Goiter Blazes
Treepeople - Treepeople
Devo - Gut Feeling
Neil Young - Long May You Run
Butthole Surfers - Human Cannonball
Flaming Lips - 5 Stop Mother Superior Rain
Flaming Lips - There You Are
Beck - Puttin It Down
Gram Parsons - Blue Eyes
Kinks - Nothing In The World Can Stop Me Worrying About That Girl
Cat Power - Free
Alice Cooper - Billion Dollar Babies
Husker Du - Pink Turns To Blue
Metallica - Seek and Destroy
Slayer - South of Heaven
Kinks - Mindless Child of Motherhood
Elliot Smith - Waltz No2
Loudon Wainwright - Swimming Song
Weezer - My Name is Jonas
Danzig - Mother
Chicago - Feeling Stronger Everyday
Returnables - (can't remember the title)

Of Note, Century Rocket Building just a month before it's official inception was called Handles. We did one set of all covers. Let me see if I can remember the setlist:
Ramones - Outsider
Gram Parsons - Luxury Liner
Kinks - Strangers
Lemonheads - Losin Your Mind
Mission of Burma - Revolver
Bastro - ?? (i think)

Plus, I used to be in a Metal Band in high school and we did almost all covers. But we usually did them wrong somehow.

Oh yeah, and SKWM:
Couldn't You Wait
Cockfight of Feelings
