I can stomach a Big Hunk O' Cheese but not Korn.

A band that is encrusted and caked with shit.

Yeah but that video is the bittersweet icing on the cake.

Makes me wish I hadn't voted crap now.

Not that I'd have voted Not Crap, just I need a third category: "Help me."

I give you the worst music video ever filmed.

The link doesn't work any more, but I deduced that everyone's talking about the Word Up video. What's wrong with it? It's weird and funny. It's a video for a cover song and they made it goofy. Do you really want them to film Birth Of A Nation to Cameo's Word Up. Jokes, remember them? Didn't pictures from a certain 7inch teach us that jokes are the best way to pull off a cover?

Korn is weird for me. When the first album came out, I really liked it. I was fifteen. It was different. It was loud like metal, but slow and steady enough that I got it. I actually liked their schtick; all hip-hopped playing music that didn't really fit how they looked. I think they'ed have gotten less shit for it if it hadn't spawned all the copycats. It reminds me of the Ramones leather jackets, long hair, and sunglasses. I like some songs from the first and second albums. I like the covers. I really like the guitar sound still.

Not Crap.

Probably should have posted this in the 'post while you are drunk thread.'

I'm guilty of owning their self titled. These dudes lived not to far from my town in California.

"head", the guitarist, is some Christian whack job now. Now I see bumper stickers and shirts that say "KoRn gave head to Jesus".

Anyway Korn sounded great when stuck in the suburbs in the mid 90s as a teen. "ARE YOU READYYYYYYYYY??????????!!!!!!!!!!!!" duh duh da duh dur da dur duh....

Korn then proceeded to sound ridiculous at college in a big city in the late '90s early '00s. I realized that there were better, more bad-assed heavy bands that could do circles around Korn. Plus, I saw a fifth-graders with Korn t-shirts and I started referring baggy-panted middle-schoolers as "Korn Kids".
Crap.

can't forget those silver ball necklaces.

I'm not sure if he made a Christian skate video but I know Jamie Thomas used to be one of my favorite skaters until he started dedicating tricks to Jesus with candle segments inbetween his sections.
