And it is. I really wish television, shopping, driving, and praying, were enough. Then I would be in exactly the right place and my world would rock. Pardon my ignorance, but i'm not very well acquainted with Fugazi. I'm genuinely interested in hearing people's thoughts on how they had an "impact in alleviating the world from injustice as rockers". Cheers.

I think what I was trying to get at is Jello is the type of guy who always needs an enemy. He challanges authority in a way, BUT he has hardly done anything (other than to pose questions and provoke thought) in the way of creating a change. If everything went his way, HE'd have no need to do 8 spoken word albums that are invariably the same.

Compared to the others that have been mentioned, I think his contribution is somewhat pedestrian...

Its all talk, no action.

I will always love them, though. Changed my life completely. The way I thought about politics, music, everything.

I love what Fugazi did for me. I was never too much of a fanboy about it. Yeah I saw The Evens a couple of times and I've heard Minor Threat/Rites of Spring. I don't care about any of that. It's not Fugazi. Fugazi changed my life.

Thanks for the correct spelling. The spell check function brings up a blank screen on my Mac, which I am forced to use since the cats have apparently eaten my mouse cord on my Windows PC.
