What about Boston Public?
The television programme,
it is loathsome.

Close, but not quite! Here's how that conversation always goes:
"Man, you're Irish? I am too!"
"Really, you were born in Ireland? You've certainly lost your accent."
"Nah man, my second cousin's doctor's best friend was half Irish! I'm like your fuckin brother!"
"Get away from me you Dane Cook-loving t-shirt collar-raising asscockface"

Bob Weston is a nice man, and he is from Boston.
And I just realised that "Boston" is a contraction of "Bob Weston".
Coincidence? I think not.

That's close to what happens when I am overseas, and someone figures out I am from New York (note: it's not that difficult, given my accent):
"You're from New York? Do you know Haywood Jablome (or some other name)? He lives in Brooklyn..."
Stewie, I do not envy your exchanges at all.

Yeah I'm going to have to go ahead and disagree with that statement. People in Cambridge are no nicer then people in Boston. In may cases, they're even worse.

Well, you say potato, I say tomato.
All kidding aside, I happen to work in Waltham, and it truly is nothing like Boston. There are some very decent people in the town of Waltham. The majority of my friends have even moved there.
And they used to make a
hell of a lot of watches there.

Nervous Eaters, Big Dipper? These were not important bands.
i never said they were important, just that I liked them and they were good.
there are tons more that I can't remember, or never knew about.
and sure, there are tons of good bands in other cities that I would like too.
Boston is not the greatest city in the world, despite what the Bostonians think. But it far from CRAP. I know CRAP. I lived in Phoenix. I have actually been to Yuma on many occasions. Any of you fuckers ever been to Yuma?
i thought not.
