42i just got a new thing set up this weekend and it sounded so fricken good that I am compelled to share...
Electrical Baritone ->
Boss TU-2->
Ibanez SC-10->
(SC-10 out #1) -> Z.Vex Super Duper -> Traynor YVM-1 (~45W)that I put the preamp design from a JMP Master Volume into -> Mesa Thiele-type 1x15" (EV)
(SC-10 out #2) -> Morley ABY pedal
(ABY out #1) -> Traynor YBA-1 (~30W) that I tweaked the preamp of (a "more dirt" channel) and am running 6V6's -> Sonic 2x12" (EV)
(ABY out #2) -> Tech21 XXL -> MXR Super Gate -> Traynor YBA-1A (~90W) -> Kustom 2x12" (G12T-75's)
So it's basically either 2 or 3 amps on at any given moment. The "Marshall" is always on; then the ABY controls whether the YBA-1 w/ 6V6's is on (saturated and dirty), the YBA-1A is on (crisp with the XXL off, super-saturated with it on), or all 3 of them are.
The sound with all 3 on is kinda mindboggling for me. Indefinite sustain, feedback I can control by distance to the amps, simultaneous multi-layer distortion but with clarity... dag. What a bitch it would be to bring to shows, though. I dunno, we'll see...
The YBA-1 with 6V6's is one of my latest pet projects. I bought it modded to shit by somebody who had no idea what they were doing, so I got it for cheap. Maybe $150 for a 60's YBA-1, about one year ago. Putting in the 6V6's allows me to get preamp and power amp saturation at pretty reasonable volumes. As part of a 3-amp setup, it's the perfect volume to add a texture to a sound that's already been established by one or two of the other amps.
Yum.

44I use the reissue of the Ampeg SVT VR (I htink it used to be called the Blue Line) through two 15'' speakers from Ampeg too.
I'm the happiest man on earth.
My bass is a G&L.

45Deluxe Reverb Reissue, with Jensen P12N to help the loud sound better. Sadly, I can't play the thing loudly right now. At least I have the nice clean sound.
Yeah, I wrote that. It’s called “I Wanna Rock Your Body.” And then in parenthesis it says “Till the Break of Dawn.”

Fuck him. I saw another one on ebay recently that had new tubes with a recap for $600 , but poverty got the best of me. I know it's probably a Kerble, but have you tried out any Acoustic heads ?
fuckin' hippies are so full of shit, "what's mine is yours and what's yours is mine...i'm not giving yours back though."
and yes, i have tried acoustic heads. i like them and have recommended them to several ea'ers when they search for a cheap, loud bass amp. i have tech room posts for proof. though, i want something different. i've never had a tube amp, and played through an svt which i loved. but i'm not paying that much.
anyone here wanna take a ts-50b in a trade for a v4b or some other decent tube bass amp?
i'll throw in some cash obviously. might throw in the power amp as well.
PM me, if so.

48Matchless SC30.
It's a Sampson period model, even though I hear that's not really as a big a deal as everyone makes it out to be.
It's green, and sounds great.
I bought it because it was cheaper than buying a Vox AC15 at the time. They hadn't reissued them yet.
Orange Tiny Terror.
One of the best things I've heard in a long time, so I bought one. Super portable. I play it through a "Vox" 1x12 - it's a custom built thing that I bought used. It's a replica of a cabinet they never made. Really well built though. It has a 30w Celestion 70th Anniversary Classic in it.
Or I just use what's available as a backline cab. Since the head is so small and has it's own gig bag, it goes anywhere.
My bass amp is a G-K MB150 thing. The little portable one that has a 12" speaker in it, but can drive big cabinets. Honestly, I like Ampegs better, but this thing is so handy, with it's built in speaker. It's a practice amp on it's own, and a quite loud one, or it can drive a backline cab. It has a DI out built in. Nice.

50Currently;
Fender Silverface Twin (sounds good, fucked cabinet)
Euclid modded Sound City 50 Plus into a Euclid 2x12 Cab
I might get one of those little Epiphone Valve Junior (anyone got one?) amps to run in my room soon...
Would like one of these too;
