I CANNOT WAIT to see this madness in Portland. I am 130lbs and expect to get ravaged.

I don't know if this makes me an asshole or a hero, but as soon as I saw they were coming to Portland I started learning karate from my girlfriend. I MUST protect my dignity if some self-righteous hipster challenges my birthright. Also, I was a metal show about a month ago and literally feared for my life when some 300lb wrecking ball went on a rampage. He was convulsing upright, seizing almost, and KICKING THE SHIT out of everyone in the damn room. It was very depressing and emasculating to feel so powerless.

Anywho. I must now put "Two Towers" on repeat and watch Enter the Dragon and eat a protein shake.

Just spoke to an HPK person. They said LB requested a "small show," and the room is only going to fit about 200 people.

So I recommend showing up at 5...?

The shear stupidity of this could make it the coolest thing ever. Hopefully, 500 people will show up, and the 250 who don't get in will stand outside singing an acapella version of "30,000 Monkeys" while knife-fighting. Or something.

I'm not going to this anyway, though. Which sucks, but what I'm really pissed about is that I won't see their show tomorrow in Omaha, with opening local guy Vverevvolf Grehv who, despite sounding like shit on record, puts on a really fucked up live show, complete with simultaneous fist pumping and finger tapping. This other band named F^THR will be playing too, making it a catchall event for the Nebraska noise rock scene.
Also, unlike the Chicago one, this will be an actually legitimate small show where everyone who wants to get in can get in.

My friend's band KK rampage will be playing with LB as well. I'f you're at the show and you don't like seeing naked people, turn away. Or you'll turn into salt. Really.
