I only disagree with one piece of this post: Not all of the Uzeda is fantastic. All the stuff on Touch & Go certainly is, but they have at least a couple of records before they were on that label which sound nothing like the Uzeda we know; those records are a lot closer to Siouxie and the Banshees than any band should be.
