Hey, at this point, I wouldn't even be willing to do her. She represents everything I hate about celebrity worship, especially with her statements that she improves the lives of the mundane. She is so full of herself that its disgusting.

Yeah I agree. She's an intolerably disgusting human being. I really, really hate her and all she stands for.

But all that notwithstanding...

Live Nation just reminded me of Ticketmaster. They charge ridiculous fees and exploit private customer information.

Out of curiosity, is the objection to American Apparel over their marketing and/or the creepiness of Charney?


I ask because the opinions of socially conscious people toward AA tend to vary quite a lot. Charney's a sleazy character in a lot of ways, but he does plenty of things right too.

What they've done to the construction supply/ plumbing supply/ electrical supply/ tool supply/ mom and pop hardware store is scary and if you think it doesn't affect you, you're probably mistaken. Unless you never ever ever need anything remotely related to home repair and or gardening and or.... everything they sell.

Support your local merchants when you can.

Apparently not any more (although a local could maybe correct me), but there apparently was asbestos there for years, and the owner didn't tell anyone, even the employees. You hadn't heard that story? Wow, i thought that was common knowledge at this point.

After my Paris Hilton comments, I realize that I actively avoid watching any reality, and especially celebrity info/worship shows, that are on cable or tv in general.
