Don't fall for that propaganda. The resiliency of al Qaeda is not the result of poor efforts by the Pakistanis to root out al Qaeda in their country. al Qaeda, the ISI, the CIA, the taliban heroin squad: all part of the same team. al Qaeda is a manufactured enemy for the synthetic terror war. Destabilized regions demand US intervention. Somebody has to serve as the destabilizers.

If there is a Taliban resurgence, that bodes well for the promotion of the clash of civilizations.
