I live about halfway between Versailles, IN and Big Bone Lick SP in KY.

My wife is from Versailles, IN (pronounced Ver-Sails). When I first met her I made fun of it by pronouncing it the "right" way???
Now everyone I ever meet does the same thing, "Ver-Sails? Ha. Don't you mean Ver-Sigh." It gets old.

IN also has Peru (that's Pee-Ru).
