I really hope that this story doesn't turn this way. We all know the child is dead, and that's a terrible thing - but this seems somehow like a particularly evil twist.

I'm puzzled about Madeleine's blood being found in a car hired 25 days after she went missing though, would a child who had been dead for 4 weeks still bleed? What's going on here? Someone give me the CSI skinny.
