*sad face*

He's right though, although I'm almost certainly part of the problem and not the proverbial...

Oh, shut up, you old grumpy man who can't memorize a password.

What the hell are these stinking computers for if not to memorise passwords so I don't have to? Huh?

And what, each time you're entering a new one you think "hah! previous 15th cases of cache getting deleted were just bad luck. but This time is gonna work forever! Take a good lok, son, cause your daddy has just entered a password that will last forever! You hear me? FOOREEEVEER"?

one week later

"uh, son, how carefully you were looking at the keyboard when I was entering that password?"
"why, it got deleted this fast?"
"...Oh, no I just want to check your memory"
"yeah, right. HAHAHAHAHAAH"

One of the main purposes computers have is to annoy us. Ever tried to do something using Windows Vista?

Yes. But still. It would be nice to read a thread about US Politics on here that doesn't get Godzilla'd.

I've never experienced a political discussion that didn't turn into a heated debate. So, good luck on that. Never going to not happen. But I'm glad to see people have passion, either way.

A heated, passionate debate is fine and rewarding. But a debate where one participant is pretending to be Godzilla? And that's the guy that is "well-read" and "informative"? That's just silly, isn't it?

Take some deep long breaths. Eliminate all feelings and emotions from your brain and body. You are cold and analytical. You have nothing important to say. Now begin to type your post. It's a lot more interesting to read now than it would have been if you'd been passionate about it. Isn't that strange?
