If I happen to touch a piece of cotton, like maybe I opened a jar of aspirin and there's some jammed in the top there and my hand touches it I will seriously freak, hearing cotton rubbing together close to my ear is the most awful sound I can imagine. The thought alone sends a bad jolt of electricity through my body.

I can barely write this without freaking out but the idea of chewing on a piece of cotton....I'd rather have my throat slit, I really would.

Oddly enough, I've only been cut by my own blade a scant few times, and it was never a massive wound. However, yeah...the blade is capable of impaling one in a collision or fall. It rarely happens, but when it does, it's usually a head or ass wound.

The entire time that I skated or coached or ice guarded, I only witnessed two really bad wounds, and both of those were people learning triple jumps and smacking their heads against the ice or sliding into walls at high speeds. I'm actually surprised that I didn't sustain a blade stabbing from any of the flailing kindergarteners that I once coached. Little fuckers...

Okay. I'd like to add ill-behaved children with sharp blades strapped to their feet to my list of fears.
