and it's pretty obvious when i'm not smiling.

To be fair, if the above is true he didn't deserve the 'good riddance' comment. That's not exactly forgive and forget is it?

I was with you up until that point. I would like people to act here as they do in real life.

Yeah. I don't hold that particular instance against him.

His contribution outside of that made for the "good riddance" comment.

I won't stay stuck on it, though. That was immature of me. I don't miss him, but I have nothing against anyone posting here.

Sorry for that.

You're probably the only person in the history of messageboard forums to miss that creepy fuck.

Creepy fuck? Hadn't noticed.....I just liked that he was one of the few around here that had a more similar music taste as me.

Do you think that Queens of the Stone Age and At The Drive In are representative of "new" and "exciting" rock music?

Although...I'll admit that I don't mind Queens of the Stone Age.

Not at all.....I meant the older stuff he liked. He talked good "old-guy" rock.

Queens of the Stone Age are fucking great for a mainstream rock band.

Queens of the stone age are bullshit and have been for quite some time.
That Rated R record is a real good record, that's it.
There's a few decent tracks scattered throughout the Desert Sessions discs, the rest is crap.

Nowhere close to crap. I listen to Rated R more than anything else. I never listen to the other albums. They are very listenable.

The first record had some serious jams on it.

'How to Handle a Rope', 'Regular John', 'Mexicola' - these are all excellent rock songs.
