I find most gigs boring. I like records better.

The next time a see leg warmers with a floral patterned turtleneck, I'm going to flip.
These ladies don't look cool, they look like they just got out of a time machine set from 1988 and accidentally stepped into it on the way back from their special ed class.
Learn some style please.
It's funny that even though there are lots of people walking round with what they think is individual style, that they actually belong to a 'Style Tribe' Not my label. The cutlure show (UK) did a piece (presented by my wife's cousin BTW) on a couple of Dutch photographers who have taken time to document the style tribes resident in different cities around the world. It isn't until you see a set of full length portraits with 20 or so individuals all dressed the same, that you realise how conformist to a particular look they(we?/ people) are.

The more records I record, the more I love metal and hate indie rock.
Metal kids BELIEVE and WANT and have DREAD.
Indie kids fuss, aren't sure, and have angst.
Fuck indie rock.

I'd also rather listen to metallica than any radiohead album.
I love the god bullies and practically everything they put out.
I like "kindercore" better than anything riot grrrl. In fact, I pretty much just hate anything riot grrrl in general.
I could give a shit about the MC5, who sound offensive to me when I listen to them.
I am not ashamed to have violent feelings towards artists I dislike, even though I know it's cool to be detached personally from anything like that. Like, I would have no problem kicking lou barlow in the face and calling him a girly man.

There aren't many bands I want to see live, but the ones I do, I'm on it like a rabid dog.
Indie rock for the most part, doesn't do anything for me.
I also feel the Ramones aren't that special. Good, but way overrated.

Do all the metal bands you record sound like Bad Brains circa
Quickness?
