Psisteria in Lincolnwood has an excellent, Greektown quality gyro. Used to go there alot when I lived in Sauganash, after my Greek neighbors raved about it.

Actually, I cannot disagree with this - fantastic call MF Nightmen.

The fuckers charge you to get in, plus the food and drink are not altogether cheap for a festival, but it is truly outstanding food. Save up your money and your appetite for this. Its a winner.


mmmm....just came back from the fest and had a mighty tasty gyro. might i also recommend the greek fries as a nice side (french fries sprinkled with feta cheese, oregano and lemon)...very tasty.

If you are ever in Melbourne there is a fantastic Gyros/Souvlaki place called "Lambs on Chapel" on Chapel Street.

mmm Just decided i'm going to get me one tonight.
