I'm continuing my Spielberg boycott. Munich was decent, though.

Complete horseshit, I wanted to leave. I was really stoned and I still wanted to leave.

Maybe I expected to be disappointed
but I didn't find it as bad
as everyone else.
Sure I could pick it apart
but I was entertained

I liked the intro

I don't get the complaints about
keeping the alien thing a mystery
I thought it was clear from the
beginning (previews/commercials)
this would involve aliens
"not made by human hands"
was quoted in the commercials and previews before
it was released.

It had some very good moments
but not the strongest of the series

The script, I wouldn't wipe my ass with the script. It would be doing my asshole a huge disservice. This is seriously the best script they could come up with? Why couldn't they pay someone talented to write them a great script?
Wasn't well made at all, looked like shit. Didn't feel like an Indiana Jones movie at all, was boring and stupid as fuck.
Half the characters didn't even need to be there.
I mean, if you are going to do it, do it right. They have everything in the world to throw at this movie and this is what they come up with? Some half assed bullshit?

I agree with some of this
but i still enjoyed it on some level.

The character that kept changing allegiances
forget his name
(when do you forget a name in an Indy movie?)
was terrible and shouldn't have been in the movie.
I think the fact most of the locations were made up
hurt the film quite a bit

wtf were winstone and blanchett doing in this film? did it fullfil their "i always wanted to be in an indiana jones film" dream.

i never saw a preview so i wasn't expecting the cockamamie alien story.

I would be very interested in seeing the Frank Darabont draft. I hope it'll get leaked to one of the many script websites.. someday.
