I m Bored Poll: Should I Cut My Hair?

After a really, really bad haircut when i was like 10 years old I swore that I wasn't going to get my hair cut again. And so I did. I wore my hair (way too) long for years until one day it started to cut itself, if you know whay i mean, when i was like 18 years old and I realized that I was pretty sick of my long hair so I shaved my head and then I wished I'd done it years before.
So, the lesson is, one day you'll start losing hair and you'll think "Oh, where did my hair go? What did I do with it all those years? Did I get the best possible from my hair when I still had? Oh right, no, I didn't, I let it grow like it was some fucking plant or something instead".
Take my advise, cut your hair.

Pulling off a
longhair.
Your sentence was fine, btw. Mr Chapman is just being crude.

Ah, this is not what I meant! Helene, your sentence was perfect but I isolated that part to make it sound like you were telling Mr Food not just to cut his hair, but to pull it out. I did it for laughs, pure and simple.
Sigh.

Oh dear. My internet sarcasm and innuendo filter has obviously become over-sensitive. Or maybe I just expected less of you.

Cut it.
Plus, do it yourself.
Everyone should experience a self-administered buzz cut once in their life. It's fairly cathartic.
And easy to maintain. Prior to meeting the Lady Mrs. Chimp, this was my preference for 10 years.
Prior to that, I was a long hair, but it was mainly kept pulled back for similar reasons of convenience.
And even after meeting the LMC, I didn't get a haircut but once or twice a year. Until wedding time.
Now, with close to a year under our belt? Self-buzz. It's great to once again no longer have any hairstyle concern.

NO.
Don't cut it. You don't want to look like "the rock guy at the office" do you? The rock guy from the office just keeps one or two small details from his past rock life to stay under the impression he is still the rebel he used to be.
And don't shave. Your beard looks fine too.
Screw them.
Hippie look rules if that's what you like.
Hippies rule.
War is over.
If you want it.
Too finish my rant I'm gonna tell you a little story.
I'm 27 too. I look kind of the same without the wedding dresses. Six months ago I went through this "I can't stand to look like a teenager anymore" phase, and decided it was high time for me to buy a sweater (a pullover in french, not sure about translation). A nice, good office looking sweater I could wear on any occasion without feeling embarassed of being different. So I went to two or three big stores and ended up in marks and spencer where I found what I wanted, the everybody sweater, dark grey with horizontal black stripes, gayish enough for my tastes and very cheap because I'm a broke guy. I take it, go home. Then realize it had been made in a third world slave children shithole. I've never worn that 25 euros shit. Society and all those average looking pricks I work with nearly got me. Anyway, office look and new clothes don't really fit me, I feel bad for feeding this low budget clothing market, and secondhand clothing is really fine.
The morale is that you should cut your hair only if you really feel like it. Maybe cut it yourself is a cool experiment. It might look shitty but it becomes a story you can tell and remember. And hair grows back anyway.
Don't cut it for work don't cut it to look normal, people who feel offended by your nearly-30-with-long-hair face should just fuck off.
