I think The Divided Sky is a good song, there's some cool stuff going on in it. Not the studio version, but this one version they did on halloween in 1994. Limb By Limb is a nice song, as is Simple. Beyond that, I have no interest in defending Phish. After hearing the song Sleeping Monkey, I decided that Phish aren't worth serious contemplation. They're in it for yucks, a good time. I can't think of any good reason to hate them, it's not like their music is all over the radio. And from what I can tell, they seem like ok people.
