this is a sad post.

you dick, why didn't you sell it to me???

This was a pre-EA barcode. Bass players should definitely check these things out, the amount of low end they can put out is pretty great.

On another note, I just got a Boss FZ-2 for cheap, which does a great job of copping the Sly and the Family Stone fuzz bass sound. You oughta check it out.

Thanks for the suggestions. Actually, I have rented two Geddy's before and, though they sounded good, I couldn't really get with the feel of the neck. Too thin and, for lack of a better word, jagged. I also want a rosewood board next time around. I'll probably go with Warmoth neck and body and then see what's available for everything else.

Jesus, this thread is making me cry.

I was young (around 96'-97') and vintage Fenders were still cheap and plentiful.

Now please excuse me while I go stab myself. Stab, stab, stab.

I have one for this reason, and for the fact that it's s my home computer basic audio interface. I'd use it a lot more if I had a good pair of headphones.

Nah, the good headphones only help serve to highlight the shitty sterile/fake sounding amp modeling. I have been down that road, my friend.

If you plug a small (6") home stereo speaker into the headphone jack and crank the shit out of them they sound kinda cool. Turns it into a weird little practice amp and the little speaker almost blowing up takes away from the fake sheen.
