Who are you to tell someone that they are immature and wrong because they don't see the two candidates the way you do? This type of thinking reminds me of the Daley thread where people were saying "yeah, he's corrupt, but he gets things done." Is this what the political system in this country has come to, the lesser of two evils? Giving a pass to corruption because the median on your street got landscaped? Both parties are shit for the common person. They only care to benefit the wealthy, powerful and corporate.
I wouldn't vote for Obama if there were a $10k bonus awaiting me outside the poll after I punched his name. I've thought from the start that he can't be trusted and with his backsliding on FISA, faith based bs and giving Israel a big wet kiss, in my mind I'm right. Change my ass.
McCain is just more of the same from the party of wealth concentration, oil and war.
The choice between these two is like the prospect of getting raped in prison. You can take it in the mouth or ass. I'll pick neither.
you are also immature and wrong headed. I don't love either of these guys unconditionally, I wish there were better alternatives, but there aren't.
And your analogy is wrong. It is like gong to the pants store when you need new pants. There are only two pairs of pants in the store. You wish there were more, but there are only two. And you need pants. You have to pick one.
Choosing not to participate in the system, when there is no available alternative, is just allowing others to drive the bus. Griping about politics and not even voting does not seem intellectually honest to me.
