I also remember

-bouncing in one of those doorway-mounted bungie seats for little kids

-riding in my grandpa's car and disliking the wooden bead mat thing that hung on his driver's seat

-being ridden around by a very old man in a basket that was mounted on the front of a bicycle and feeling very unsafe as he leaned into the turns

-being bullied by a bigger kid who would follow me around and fuck with me in pre-school all the time. His name was Eddie. I haven't thought of that in years. Hard to believe that assholes start being assholes so young.

-being taught to stay in the right "lane" when going up and down stairs at my pre-school.

-a lot of other things about pre-school. I think this thread is jogging my memory. Thanks, all! Keep it up. These are fun to read.

I remember in pre-school being pinned down by two boys and them undoing my fly for some reason.

A dozen years later one of them was the starting QB of the high school football team.

I remember a view from outside the front door, looking down the street, seeing a canal and the greenery on the other side.

I supposed I was very young. I went to college in Worcester and my family had lived there 20 years before. I went to check out the street we lived on and there was my view. I must have been two or three at the time.

Uh ... first memories.

I remember being in pre-school. This would be around three or four. I'd be playing with some other kid, and one of the teachers would say, "Look who's here!" I'd turn around and it would be one of my parents, coming to pick me up. I just felt this flood of love in my heart for them. Lots of memories of that stuff are hidden away in there somewhere.

My mom used to take me to hang out with her friends when I was a really young kid, and to this day I'll hear some woman's voice make a particular vowel sound and it will sound exactly like my Mom's voice sounded when I used to ride in the car with her. It stops me in my tracks. Love my mom.

I actually had a girlfriend when I was that same age. Her name was Megan. We were on the same soccer team. She turned out to be this totally beautiful girl. If any of you used to watch Nickelodeon, you'll remember that show You Can't Do that on Television!, right? Well, I used to go over to her house and watch that with her when I was like three or whatever.

When I played soccer, I didn't play like the other kids -- I literally ran around the field in circles, just skirting the sidelines and waving into the stands. Over and over again. I've always been bored silly by soccer ever since.

I remember being super happy when I was a kid. Those times were great.

Samuel Beckett claimed to remember his time in the womb...I have to say, I believed him.
