I love Simon and Garfunkel's songs.
Paul Simon is an excellent guitarist and lyricist and he and Art Garfunkel were great in duet.
"Bleecker St." might be my favorite song by them
And Art Garfunkel has a great voice on his own.

NOT CRAP
Reminds of my mum, and being a kid.
Such sweet songs.
Just what I need today.

No, they ruined it. Thanks, Bangles, for shitting on that for me.

There's some crap in their catalog, but they also have so many genuine gems that I've got to give them a not crap.
"April Comes She Will" is stunningly beautiful.

Yes! Such a lovely song.
I've been thinking about recording some covers this weekend - probably for no-one's ears but my own, just to practice and gain a bit of confidence in my singing (which is mediocre at best, but I still harbour dreams of making a half decent record with vocals one day). I will probably record a cover of
Bookends.

"Mrs. Robinson" is a literally perfect pop song.

"Perfection," in the arts anyway, is always figurative.

Yeah.
It's less perfect than either "Victoria" or "Lola." So it's not perfect!

Art Garfunkel has a son called James.
See if you can guess which one he is in this photo.
