The green ringer is an octave up/pseudo ring modulator originally made by dan armstrong. It has a fun octave effect on single notes and wacky sounds with multiple notes. I built mine from this:http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/pro ... een-ringerThough I used GE diodes instead of SI because I thought they sounded better. The Bazz Fuss is a fun little fuzz made from around 5 components. It was originally designed for bass, but I use it for guitar. Read all about it here: http://www.home-wrecker.com/bazz.html

tarandfeathers wrote:Nice, where are you having that done? Is it expensive?Constructuion in the Far East. However, it should be to high standards. Cost is ~ 250 all-in which is less than a Flea body by quite a long shot.n-eight wrote:Which capsule are you going with? Point to Point?I have two Dale Ulan M7 capsules. I may use one of them, or "upgrade" to a Thiersch or get a second-hand Neumann. I'll wire it point-to-point. I have a VF14 and several EF14s (the latter of which I'll try to make an equivalent circuit for by doing some curve-tracing) and just need a BV8 transformer. I'm mainly doing it for the fun / learning experience, although the final item should be quite cool.

Gotta stagger. It is quite tiny in there. I staggered these two so that, were I inclined, I could get one of those straight, no cable, double ended 1/4 jacks and place them side by side. Do some google snooping on diy stombox forums for small enclosures and you will find some amazing feats of circuit cramming. It is possible to have a very tiny but robust pedal board using theses boxes. This link has some helpful images: http://thepedalbuilder.com/?p=119

So I've got a really dumb question, but I thought I better ask before I get all nutty. Can I just split that pickup into two pickups? I mean, I could easily use just one pup but I got to thinking that I could set it up SS. Can I?Me troglodyte. If you took half out, you'd loose the hum canceling aspect of it.
