Maybe it was Forget It. You Wouldn't Understand
"Brainwash," actually. I always liked how insidious it was.

I seem to remember they called it something else for the 7". I'm prolly wrong.

I don't personally know about the single, but according to
a couple web pages out there, it had the same title on the 7. Now on the actual cover art (which I've not seen), it may be different, but I dunno.

What's going on with their catalogue? I've read vague mumblings that the out of print ALBUM and the rest will be reissued next year. I'm dying for this to happen, because I STILL DON'T OWN IT. Granted I'm 22 and I've only known about Flipper for, oh, 4 years, but it's damn near impossible to find.
EDIT: Scratch that, impossible to find for under $40 or so.

I found Public Flipper Limited on Soulseek today.
This is the greatest live album...it is rocking my fucking head off right now. 1 1/2 hours of drunken moronic sludge noise with the occasional amazing performance thrown in and tons of the greatest audience baiting ever recorded.

zom-zom wrote:I ran sound for Flipper in 1984 at the 7th St. Entry. It was the loudest thing I ever heard in there, including Whitehouse, Swans, SPK... Will Shatter was absolutely out of his gourd demanding bottles of mineral water. Amazing, they did two nights. So great.
They were louder than Swans?!
I thought Swans - especially around '84 - were one of the loudest live bands to have ever played.
