Is it me or did anyone also notice that the guy who shot Wild Bill Hicock
in the first season is also the actor who plays the geologist who works for Hearst in the second season?
Ok, so i've ploughed through season 1 and 2. Great show.
My box set for season 2 was chinese of origin so it didn't really get along with my DVD player. Dropped frames and audio was out of sync. Still a no holds barred smorgasborg of violence and sex. Which i found highly enjoyable.
On the down side this show encourages my consumption of whiskey.

He's also on The 4400, a show on the USA network.
He was also Jesus on that Book Of Daniel show that lasted about two episodes.
Garrett Dillahunt, Salut! You have what they call dramatic range.

43I've found the last several episodes to be a bit of a slog. Am I just being a lazy viewer who is all-too-eager to satiate a vicarious bloodlust? Perhaps other perspectives can set me aright, if you would be so kind as to share.

45Best written show on TV, bar none. I love the convoluted, quasi-Shakespearean dialogue juxtaposed with the brutality and coarseness. I do think the writing has lost just a tad of its initial elegance and punch, but not much. Still my favorite show on the boob tube.
chopjob, I don't think they've quite been a slog, but I do agree that I find myself fighting against an urge to hurry up to what will surely be a spectacularly violent climax to all this tension. But then again, I think that urge is precisely what the writers are trying to create in the viewer. So kudos to them for succeeding.

46I've been hearing a lot about this show as of late. I want to look into it. But, right now I'm obsessed with Six Feet Under. My library has the whole collection on DVD so I've been watching several episodes a night.
It's an aweome show but I don't recommend watching it as I have been...Too much death. I've been having weird and creepy dreams as a result of watching it before bed.

47Alright, I thought you guys meant 'Deadwood' as in the creepy satanic noise band. Which, by the way, is good stuff if that's your thing...

48[potential spoiler follows.]
Not to burst anyone's bubble, but I dont' think there's going to be a big violent flurry. Insofar and Hearst, Swearingen, Star, and Bullock are all based on real people, there wasn't a big shootout. Bullock, in fact, never killed anyone as Sheriff.
Of course, I hope I'm wrong.

49If that tiny type says Seth finds out Trixie has a dick and the show ends to the strains of Boy George, I'm going to be so fucking mad at you.
