Verbs & Nouns wrote:it was user error and the terrible instructions and YouTube videos didn t help.I really think that most companies would have more success with their products if they had better instructions and instructional videos. Sometimes just figuring out how to do the most obvious uses of something is not obvious. I wish they would also pay for a series of deep instructional videos explaining things. There have been a couple of things I did not buy because I could not tell from websites, videos and the pdf manual if it actually could do what I wanted (later to find it did). Don't even get me into manufactuers some testing on user interfaces post engineering development things like menu orders which seem to always be set for someone else's workflow than mine. So maybe its just me.

Took about 15 of those minutes to figure out how to save loops once I ve recorded them (I have to stop the loop that I ve recorded, then save it). When it wasn t saving loops I thought I bought a dud because I bought it secondhand, but it was user error and the terrible instructions and YouTube videos didn t help. Really excited to see how it going when I m in the rehearsal room. I m also going to play around with some GarageBand keyboard lines and see if I can import them onto it because apparently it can store .wav files.

Make sure it's the NON-latching kind.Yeah, I think it s the Boss FS-5U. I ll keep an eye out for one. Thanks. They also have a double one (FS-6) that will do what the manual up there describes with both functions, and it's super versatile but it's also 7.5 inches wide. It has switches to make it latching/non-latching and reverse polarity, plus you don't need the Y-splitter cable as it has a TRS jack.
