What I believe will matter in 2020 is this: the economy. The yield curve inverted last week. (Inverted yield curves are perhaps the most accurate predictors of recessions.)

If you lack the time to read and cross reference redactions via MSW or similar, there's a decent overview via Seth Abramson's Twitter thread.https://twitter.com/SethAbramson/status ... 7212067841Can't wait to see the unredacted report. Even in this state, with so much obscured, it's a marvel. Hell of a piece of work.

Much as I hate the orange cunt, I feel like the left are desperately taking the "I'm fucked" quote out of context. It was followed by him saying Everyone tells me if you get one of these independent counsels it ruins your presidency. It takes years and years and I won't be able to do anything. This is the worst that ever happened to me.He appears to have been worried about his ability to rule, not admitting collusion.

As a historical document, I guess. Quite a long list of crimes there for history to note people and Congress failing to give a shit about. At the very least it managed to get the stuffy old New York Times to repeatedly quote the president saying "I'm fucked". I guess they felt like their usual "I'm [expletive]" wasn't going to cut it for matters of such historic importance.

Oh I just think it's funny that Trump forced the prudish old Grey Lady to print the F word. His words are being written in the fuckin' history books. The significance of the Mueller report is not Trump wailing "I'm fucked", it's the 11 cited incidents of obstruction.

So many people out there have not internalized this very simple thing. It's becoming nauseating....which is among the reasons I'd answer:154 wrote:does this still matter?with no.

The Trump campaign did seek to work with them and to get their help. They did repeatedly lie about their contacts and meetings. Trump did obstruct justice. Not sure how that s œcooked up .
