Got my ass handed to me a couple of nights ago by The Medium, a terrifying mockumentary/found footage film about shamanism in Thailand. It runs a little over two hours long, but trust me - your patience will be rewarded because once in kicks into high gear...holy shit. Strongly recommended. It defies social norms in a few parts, so the squeamish should look elsewhere for entertainment. One of the best horror films I've seen in some time.

On Shudder
Justice for Randall Adjessom, Javion Magee, Destinii Hope, Kelaia Turner, Dexter Wade and Nakari Campbell

Shit, this sounds awesome. Definitely giving it a watch this weekend.

Hadn't heard of this one either but I'm sold if George Wendt is in it.

Not quite a horror movie more a creepy psychological thriller/farce: The Ninth Configuration (1980), written and directed by William Peter Blatty (author of The Exorcist) and starring Stacy Keach. An obscure box office flop about soldiers losing their minds with a fine ensemble cast, some neat plot twists and lots of unsettling weirdness.
