Graeme Jefferies vibes! Who’s this?
Brian Jonestown Massacre, from the album "Bravery Repetition & Noise." Anton Newcombe has an uncanny ability to sound like anyone he wants to.

I'm not even that big of a BJM fan! Went to see their last show because Mercury Rev was supporting, but MR cancelled due to COVID and I was bummed. Left two songs into BJM's set. That said, I heard "If I Love You" recently for the first time and was floored.

I like this one. The band is also known as Apollo Heights.

Track #4 remixed by Sugar Horse, former FM bill swansea's band.

Pretty sure I've raved about Glitter from Pasteboard. Catch me on a great day and this is my favorite shoegaze/dream-pop record. It's not groundbreaking, but what little it does it does with breathtaking simplicity and melodicism. The first time I heard "Squall" was one of those moments where time stops and you are fully immersed in a song. Crisp and clean guitar lines drip like honey in your ears. So lovely.

Unbeknownst to me back in April they released a deluxe edition with a few unheard songs and demos. Recently found out about it and of course the vinyl is sold out. Went over to Discogs and copies are selling for over $200 - there needs to be some sort of law.

Experienced "Snowsheep" over the weekend on a gummy. It was like sinking into regolith while watching a universe unfold. Made me intensely gooey.

I took advantage of the Spotify presale which was the most money I've ever given to Spotify. Good lord. Attempting to make-up for the 2017 show I bought tickets for and missed like a chump.

I got mine through the AXS ticket sales site -- wasn't sure the Spotify presale code would work there, but it did.

A lovely closer from the recent Drop Nineteens record.
