Well, plosives are like a big breathy popping PUH or BUH sound into a microphone.
Maybe when one of them quits they can be ex-PLOSIVES

Yeah, and on Steve Albini's recording studio's website, you guys should know this! C'mon.
For the record, plosives aren't always bad or a deal breaker, but they are sub-professional.
Haven't heard the band in question.

Shellac's
Live in Tokyo has numerous demonstrations of plosives as FM Steve attempts to 'fix' a misbehaving mic.

Love the new LP.
Hot Snakes fans, Ben Moore mentioned on FB a few weeks back that the final Hot Snakes LP is done and... it's a double.
Don't know if that means it's an extra disc of rarities/singles etc, but a double nonetheless.
