Rauchbier (Bamberg is my Mecca)
Saisons
Flanders red ales (prefer Duchesse de Bourgogne over the rest)

When I was at Roadburn, I went on a tour of De Koningshoeven Brewery (La Trappe). I wish I could get that easily over here.

So I guess pale lagers and pilsners that don't suck, at this point.
Yeah, that's the precise my position as well. I can't say that I can't drink any other beer at this point, but my body tolerates this type the best. And don't get any hangovers the next day if I go overboard.

If you are ever in my country, please look no further. This is the best beer I ever tried, and I have tried a lot.

Dunkelweizen. Which is a type of Bavarian darker wheat beer. I also like traditional Weissbier. Next would be a crisp Hell on a hot day. Generally I stick to non alcoholic / low but will drink a full ABV on occasions. I avoid alcohol mainly because I couldn’t drink for quite a while duration my chemotherapy so now it can knock me over after one pint.

My preference depends on the weather.

Fall/winter: I prefer a porter or stout.
Summer: pilsner
I spent half of June in England drank nothing but cask ales. If they were available in the U.S., that would be go-to beer.

Yeah, I'd certainly drink them if they were more prevalent here. Easy to drink, manageable alcohol content, yet also tasty.

10-15 years ago, a lot of American taprooms would have a cask ale or two available. I was always a sucker for them, but they don't seem to be around anymore. Hogshead Brewery in Denver usually has eight or so on tap, but I don't really go to breweries for fun anymore.

I'm a fan of low ABV as well and Cohesion Brewing in Denver makes an 8° Czech-style pale lager that is around 3.2% and infinity drinkable.

Ooh that sounds awesome. It's not near me but I'll have to drop by if I'm in the neighborhood.
