Thumbs up to new Pissed Jeans - weirdly refreshing to hear messy hardcore kinda stuff again
Also enjoying the new IDLES LP- it’s definitely their least annoying album yet, so that basically means it’s the best to date imo - have always found them hard to like. some good venturing into different territory on the new one - great for a long thoughts drive…

Weird that this should be the almost first mention but Ariana Grande got some song material for the first time. Was a fan of the first single that lot of folks said only sounded like Vogue and whatever, I think they were just trying to be clever.
And like this here, this is a cool song!

Throwin' in a good word for some buds who are putting out a helluva noise/math rock album in May. They fulfilled a one time dream of mine of recording at the Blasting Room, and mixed it with 'Distort Everything' maestro Scott Evans. Preview tracks sound colossal.

That new Jim White is interesting. The Kim Gordon album did nothing for me, almost sounds like parody. Either way she gets full points for doing her thing with zero regard for what I think.
