I see Scott Kelly's playing the Borderline the day after Neurosis play the Forum. Looks like a weekend in London for me! Haven't heard his solo stuff before, like.

Just got tickets! Day after Thanksgiving...I hope the family understands. They are playing Dante's, which I didn't expect. For comparison purposes, it's about the size of the Empty Bottle.

Attention London!

Neurosis is playing the Forum on 18 November. Made Out of Babies is opening. You do not want to miss this show. It's hard to describe the ferocious sound that Made Out of Babies make. Screaming, borderline-chaotic female vocals on top of angular, noisy heavy music. And my friend Cooper on guitar. That's going to be a good show! Don't miss it.

Good god, Neurosis killed last night in Portland. Easily the best show I've been to in quite some time. I urge all Seattlites to try to attend this show tonight. Anybody from London catch the show there? It also looks like they have an LA date set for January at the El Rey.

i think you are right, sir.

what's more, i am sorry to have posted a negative opinion of the wrong band. (please forgive me, bongzilla fans, if this is indeed the case.)

the band i was talking about, their lead singer was wearing a jersey. (i'm sorry, sportos, that's fucking lame, and there's no two ways about it --- unless you're jeff ament or a memeber of house of pain.)

oh boy! i am wincing uncontrollably at the things i type sometimes.

Times of Grace is my favorite record. Not favorite record by Neurosis, but favorite freaking record period. And I have impeccable taste mind you.

who went last night?

i was busy watching grizzled roadie reconfig Steve Von Till's mic so I missed Scott Kelly's bloody forehead. A bait and switch move onstage?

Yes, a good show. El Corazon has lame sound and lamer vibe, but the Neurosis sounded good. Can't say the same for Grails who had a total shit mix. Too many assholes in the crowd made me realize i'm bitter beyond my years. Girls yakking about dude hair behind me and some violent mosh guys.

And no stage raps?

NOT CRAP.
