This would be a funny metaphor to use when insulting D&D. If there is a C/NC on D&D, I might use this metaphor, because it uses elements of that game as the basis of its insult. As a put-down for Magic, though, it's kind of puzzling.

Also, hate Magic all you want, but the title of Worst Game Ever has to be reserved for some bullshit like The Game of Life.
Why do you make it so scary to post here.

You're taking me too literally. It was meant ironically, as a D&D nerd insulting another nerd game in the voice of the uber-nerd, The Comic Book Guy from The Simpsons. You know, glass houses and stones and all that.

And now, of course, it's not funny at all.

Conflicting. On the one hand, I have mad respect for my dogg LVP. On the other hand, I even prefer losing $50 every time I play Poker than this kind of thing.

I'm going for NOT CRAP because if a guy gets into it when he's already found his his through the world, it deserves a certain amount of respect. LVP got a lady friend fo' real and a kid on the way. Sorta like how you wouldn't mack on Neil Young for his train collection either.

If you enjoy it, that's cool. Nothing wrong with that.

Just keep your M: TG fan fiction under wraps.

I have a bunch of friends who regularaly get high and play this game for hours and hours. These are otherwise normal, decent, hardworking people with hot girlfriends and jobs and everything...
As dorky as I'm about to sound, I have sat in on a more than a few of these games and found the whole concept to be quite enjoyabe.
I like this Magic:The Gathering

The rule set for MTG is truly staggering and makes for excellent fun, but they haven't put out a decent set of cards in nearly a decade, and the endless "cycle" of abilities and resurrecting cards is a needless moneyspin and it killed the game.

The last good thing was those "split" cards and maybe the first set of avatars.

I played a squirrel opposition decent.
A rofellos/elemental deck.
And my own version of that rubbish deck with the magpies and man-o-wars.
