I thought the murder of Jo Cox would be a snapping point, a touching-bottom, when we realised things had gone too far but no. Quite the opposite. Her death is now used in countless threats to other politicians, public figures and well, anyone who dares question the current orthodoxy - "remember Jo Cox". Loads of previously moderate MP's now embracing the nationwide lurch to the far right. It's hard to keep track of the myths and lies that are now being placed front and centre in the public consciousness.
