It is. I found it yesterday at a record store on Belmont. I think it's original 1974, I'd tell you how great it sounds but you probably wouldn't believe me. Right now I'm following it up with Nels Cline's revisitation.

It's a fascinating photograph. It's just a wierd moment captured in time, the beat-up awning, their clothes, their faces, looks like it's sunset maybe, just a coupla dudes and his old lady, playing some way effed-up music, kicking the ladder out from beneath him.

Already bought the download when it came out but bought a used copy for the art/liner notes. So fucking good. Saw him in Ann Arbor Monday. Unbelieveable.

Got represses of Sonny Sharrock's Black Woman and the Monks Black Time at Sonic Boom yesterday. I've had downloads of both records for a while, but it's good to own such fantastic albums in proper (vinyl) editions.

J. Burns' girlfriend hooked me up with a (somewhat) unexpected discount. Can't say I didn't mind it.
