I play
A beatass Esquire
Guild X-160
Kay Jaglookingthing
Kay LP with built-in effects
The Kays just have the coolest sound. Impossible to match with any guitar that actually costs anything.
I'm building a hollow baritone Esquire.
I'm also sort of in the market for a Danelectro Baritone.
Maybe a 12 string Esquire
What kind of guitar do you play?
402- Early '90s MIJ 50s Telecaster, black (Mods: Seymour Duncan Vintage '54 Lead in the bridge, Stew Mac compensated three-piece brass saddles, Electrosocket jack mount).
- Early '00s CIJ 62 Reissue Custom Telecaster, red w/ cream binding (Mods: Callaham compensated three-piece stainless steel saddles, Electrosocket jack mount).
- Gordon Smith GS 1.5, natural (Mods: some weird aftermarket Badass 'harp' bridge/saddle added...it was like that when I bought it, honest).
- Squier Precision Bass, some weird purpley/red metallic colour.
- Crappy Yamaha FG-401 acoustic.
The black 50s reissue Tele is THE one. Lighter than air, brilliant neck, skinny frets, loves effects, needs a firm hand. We go back a long way.
