I had a bootleg LP of Lennie Hibbert's classic Creation back in the day, but the pressing was so cheap that it readily broke when I accidentally dropped it a few years later.
Snagged a digital copy on Bandcamp recently. Proper music.

New Stereolab single, first album in 15 years:
-Song is just kind of ok.
-Video seems to be GenAI slop with predictable "mid century modern bachelor pad" as the input. Pointless.
-Most disappointingly, there is either a real or simulated (more AI??) impression of Mary Hanson's vocals throughout the song, which is just bizarre and distasteful.

Jaap Vink's en dehors:
No synths involved: it's a studio feedback patch of tape delay, reverb, ring modulation, and eq.
(Posted about this before, but it's always relevant.)
