I appreciate your commitment to perfboard and hand wiring.
I'll see this and raise you.
BALLS DECATHLON. Pretty straight-up clone of the old (~1980) Electro Harmonix Attack Decay tape reverse simulator. Power supply has been modified to run off 18VDC instead of wall voltages, but that's about it. All analog in all of its weirdness.
If that pedal doesn't cost $1,300, then you're underpaying yourself.
It didnt and I am, BUT they were for regular customers and I took it on as a personal challenge. It was a "yeah I can *maybe* do that but wait till I have some free time to suss it out before I say yes" kinda situation. I built a whole separate one as a prototype first just to see if I could even get a layout together that worked.

this sounds interesting - so...what does touch-sensitive mean in this case?

You get subtle pitch shift depending on playing dynamics for a warping kinda sound. With the modulation switched on playing light results in little to no warp, while playing more aggressively results in more warp. The sensitivity of it is of course adjustable via a pot. Here's a real bare bones demo of the mod function:

Do you have any more (or planning to make) of those decathlons (and how much do they cost)?

Dont have any more on hand but have an order for another one, so yes they can be available (in general most things can). $350 post-paid on those beasts.

These are great. I bought one from the original run, sold it, and then had to have another made when I missed having one. English guitar sounds!
