The coup is happening in real time and all we can do is watch it happen like a plane crash.
If we're lucky, the Space Police will intervene.akosinski wrote: Fri Jan 31, 2025 11:08 pm Yeah I feel really bad about this.
The only thing that can save us is ourselves and I don’t know if I trust a general strike to go off.
The SCOTUS is going to be very busy over the next four years. Lots of shit is going to fall on the shoulders of Kavanaugh and Coney Barrett, who despite having been nominated by Trump and killed Roe v Wade have occasionally interpreted the Constitution fairly/against Trump's will.DaveA wrote: Fri Jan 31, 2025 3:08 pm I suggest maybe budgeting your intake of all this. It's not likely to end well. Just in the span of less than two weeks, we've reached new lows as a country. It's not a great time to be an American, even if one doesn't belong to a persecuted group. Soon enough this will affect us all more blatantly, and short of an impeachment or something, Trump and his cronies will continue down this path. It really is a terrible thing that millions of voters have willed into being over supposed "dinner table issues," which of course will only get worse.
Good luck.

Apparently, that was from 2013, and it was for hiring low level positions. Assuming reasonably that it was something like janitors, but Trump wants us to think Biden was instructing Pete Buttigieg to hire gay minorities with IQs below 40 to manage the airways.Gramsci wrote: Sat Feb 01, 2025 2:04 pm That press conference was wild. Excuse my language here but I honestly thought he was going to say “They're hiring retards as Air Traffic Controllers!”
