This issue has been brought up before, on and off YouTube, but more than any of the other spiels I've encountered, the below video articulates some of the key reasons why long-term space exploration for humans isn't viable yet, and probably won't be any time soon:
People sometimes seem to wonder how I could be preoccupied with outer space and yet have no desire to go there; this ^^^ goes toward explaining that.

Just read somewhere that the B-52's are having a farewell tour later this year and had an inkling to get tickets to the Chicago show.. and then saw a recent clip of them playing live. Oof, that's not how I'd like to remember them.

There appears to be, in Los Angeles anyway, a strong correlation between shitty driving and driving alone in a car while wearing a mask.
