Every time my better half makes microwave popcorn, it seems to stay in there too long and leaves the kitchen smelling like a car fire.

I worked at a popcorn factory in Tucson for awhile. It was disgusting how much oil we pumped into those vats. The worst was when we made the flavored popcorn. We’d put it in something that resembled a concrete mixer and spray it down with oil. Working there during monsoon season sucked. Imagine being covered in all of that grease while it’s brutally hot and humid and the swamp coolers stopped working.
