Maybe some of the Givens will be thrown out the window considering how everything is currently. With national attention and some groundwork maybe don't rule it out quite yet..

This was touched on yesterday but here's some early numbers showing even Republicans don't favor what Musk is currently doing:
Several polls in recent days, both public and internal, have found voters disapprove of Musk; Hart Research found 54 percent of voters dislike him, and YouGov found even 60 percent of Republican voters want him to have "little" influence or none at all in the administration.
