Yeah, I didn't know him well personally but he didn't strike me as someone who was very interested in Digging Up Old Shit From Way Back™. It's interesting to listen to for archivist-nerds though.

Oh, no. No one wants to hear that old JD recording. It’s so bad. If you made the regrettable mistake of listening to it, please clean out your earholes with anything else, perhaps audio recordings of belt sander races.
Who Killed Society was so much better. Steve sent me a tape with this letter.
