Been workin' on some "stuff" musical in nature. Nearing completion of the first track. I like it. Sits well sonically. It's moody and maybe even kind of spooky. Worth putting out at some point.
However, I would go on record as preferring joyous uptempo music of the vintage variety. In terms of things to listen to, that seems to be the quickest, most reliable route to my "happy place." And it may well be the most challenging style of music to faithfully match at this point, personally and in the world at large.

442Saw Matt Pike eating tacos yesterday with a couple of the dudes in Mastodon at a local taco place here in Atlanta. Oddly had no desire to tell him how much his music has meant to me, since taco time is sacred time.

446I was in Austin recently to see some friends, and we went to a taco stand where I had Duck Confit tacos. They were fucking incredible. I have been dreaming about them since.
