Agree, I like it. They basically just took the Tele plate idea and added the logo to it. If you hated that it would be pretty easy to fabricate a new one. I've low key wanted one of the Hayman/Shergold guitars for about a decade.

IDK on a different day I might like it but right now it still feels like someone slapped a bumper-sticker square in the middle of an otherwise totally fine-looking instrument. Sometimes juxtaposition and contrasting elements work but for me, right now, it's a no. I'll chime back in when I've changed my mind next week.

I don't know anything about Traynor's, but it seems people here think highly of them. There's a Mark III listed locally (Im in Southern California) for $300. Thoughts?

That’s like their version of a Twin. For $300 I would 100% get it, as long as it worked, especially for bass, baritone, keys, steel. But its a big ass amp!

Cool. Not sure I can really justify it...also there's a silverface super-reverb in the background of the pic they posted. asking about that first...if I'm gonna get an amp I don't have room for, I'd rather get that.

EDIT: There's also a fucking Brownface Deluxe.

The plate is great! I would struggle more with the tomato soup burst finish.

I love everything about the Hayman. How about that smoked acrylic pickguard with the bullnose edge? Ugh, the attention to detail! That bass is a thing of beauty.
